Greg has been with Bay Stage Live since 2001. As one of the company’s key “creative eyes”, Greg is the man who can take an ordinary vision and turn it into something truly innovative and breathtaking. Although he moved from his hometown of Loves Park, Illinois to escape the cold weather, Greg is still loyal to the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, his favorite sports teams. His love of sports doesn’t end there: for over 17 years, Greg has given his time to the Special Olympics as a volunteer. His passion for music (specifically KISS) drives his creativity and enables him to truly wow his clients with his unique ability to bring their events to life.
V.P. Business Development
Nicole is the firstborn daughter of Yvonne and Brian Justo and a was born and raised in Tampa. She has been with Bay Stage Live since 1998 and now serves as VP of Business Development. Nicole plays a major role in the business decisions of Bay Stage Live, helping to drive their current success. Nicole is an alumna and volunteer of the Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of South Florida. In addition to a busy work schedule, Nicole enjoys spending time preserving and selling historic homes in the Heights neighborhoods of Tampa. She and her husband Scott are the proud parents of their son Jake and will be looking to rescue another Labrador Retriever in the near future.
Ever since Danielle can remember, Bay Stage Live has been an important part of her life. Born and raised in Tampa, Danielle grew up around the family business. After receiving a degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, she joined Bay Stage Live and is now the company’s Vice President of Administration. Danielle handles Human Resources, Accounts Payables, and Marketing. Working for the family business seemed like a perfect thing to do because family is what matters most to her. Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, their daughter, Elle and their Cocker Spaniel, Max. Danielle is looking forward to expanding her family in the near future.
Chris Hardt joined the Bay Stage Live family in 2008 bringing her combination of technical skill and creative vision to the team. Chris has worked her way up through the organization and today serves as Production Manager overseeing all productions and independent contractor relations. She majored in Theatre Arts and is an active participant in the area’s local theater community. When she isn’t at work, Chris enjoys painting and reading; from comic books to classical literature she loves it all.
Account Executive-Rental Division
Mylon comes to Bay Stage Live with a wealth of experience in the lighting and audio/visual industry. As a former Tour and Production Manager, as well as an Account Executive, he can assist clients with all of their rental needs. Mylon has handled many different types of events and can help from the event planning stage through the final production. He is originally from Kansas City and received his B.S. Degree in Music Business at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. After working in Nashville for several years, he moved to Tampa to join Bay Stage Live. He enjoys playing guitar, reading history books, and watching movies. His knowledge and experience will be an asset to all of our rental clients and we are excited to have him on our team.
Service & Repair Manager / Equipment Sales & Installation
Patrick is one of the rare few who has never questioned his passion in life, pursuing an education in technical theater and seeking out every opportunity to work as an electrician and technical director. He began his Bay Stage journey as a Warehouse Coordinator. His dedication paid off, and Patrick was promoted to our Service and Repair Manager. Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the Tampa Bay Rays.
If you’re looking for energy, look no further than Michele Tunstall, our Administrative Coordinator. Michele has been a pivotal part of the Bay Stage Live family since 2003, offering her knowledge and positivity as the first face most of our clients interact with. Michele handles our inventory, purchase orders, client contracts, and so much more. When she’s not busy providing our customers with the absolute best in customer service, you can find her at the beach, or anywhere else close to nature. Just don’t diss the Oregon Ducks in front of Michele: she’s a diehard alumna with a fierce loyalty to her alma mater.
Burt has wanted to be in the business since seeing his first concert at age 14. He was a stagehand in Chicago for many years before doing trade show work. He came to Bay Stage Live in April 2016 as the Warehouse Supervisor when he moved to Florida to care for his mother. He is in charge of controlling all inventory and scheduling all equipment for production and rentals. Burt loves the Cubs and Chicago Hot Dogs. In his spare time, he is rehabbing a food truck with his brother in law that will eventually sell Chicago Dogs. He loves working for Bay Stage Live and particularly likes helping to change an ordinary venue into an extravagant event space.
Bryan has been working as an audio technician for the last 8 to 9 years and as a lighting technician for the last 2 years. He especially enjoys the lighting because it is more fun and creative. He has been working as a contractor for Bay Stage Live and was happy when a permanent position became available with this family run company. For Bay Stage Live, he is responsible for setting up and running the audio for concerts and corporate events. In the warehouse, he is also responsible for making sure all the equipment is prepped and cleaned before sending to an event and tracking inventory. In his spare time Bryan enjoys being a fire performer (yes, swallowing fire), juggler and circus performer.
Wayne is a Florida native who was born and raised in the Dunedin area. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. After graduating, Wayne interned with Jon Oliva of the Trans Siberian Orchestra and recorded Jon’s debut solo album. Later, Wayne moved on to a job with Greystone Digital Technologies in Clearwater designing and installing A/V and theatrical lighting systems. He also worked as a theatrical technician at Busch Gardens where he met other freelancers from Bay Stage Live. Wayne has been with Bay Stage Live for 3 years and is now our Warehouse Coordinator. Wayne enjoys fishing, hiking and cooking in his free time.
Yvonne is the god-daughter of Sam Marino, the founding father of Bay Stage Live. She brings experience and unbridled passion to the biz, with her positive energy and steadfast dedication. A lifelong dancer, Yvonne worked as a teacher for over 30 years and counts her time as dance instructor among her greatest memories. Her creativity as a dancer lends inspiration to the exciting and unique lighting designs Bay Stage Live makes into a reality.
After meeting his now-wife, Yvonne, Brian Justo joined the Bay Stage family in the 1970’s with the dream of some day owning the company. Brian loves to travel, and works with a Spanish family with five wineries in the countryside of Spain. He loves to laugh and believes life is a party. Brian’s energy and vision continues to be a driving force behind Bay Stage Live today.
We are always looking for hard working, dedicated and professional individuals to become part of our freelancer pool. These positions are on an as needed basis. This position requires you to be presentable at all times when representing our company. We are looking for someone with a fanatical sense of detail who can make sure that each and every show or event is up to our standard. You must be able to move and lift heavy equipment, set up and strike Audio/Visual equipment, along with the ability to set truss, lay cable, and focus multiple types of lighting. You must have reliable transportation as well as a working e-mail and cell phone.
